I project-managed an office refurb with a team from FFM Services Ltd in April-June 2024. The brief was straightforward - replace the very dated kitchen and bathroom fittings, and take employee feedback on board to create a brighter, more vibrant space with the wherewithal to host large meetings and provide a lot of flexibility as a post-Covid office space. I took the project from initial idea to execution, via landlord liaison, drawings, the building warrant process and finally the design, procurement and fit-out. Working with a tiny design team of three, we injected the space with enough branding to keep the parent company happy and enough personality to keep everyone from the initial company onside. I was able to deliver the project both on time and under budget, despite numerous challenges including the provision of some bifold acoustic panels, a first for both me and the builders.
